If you’re interested in Leslieville, the Wrigley Lofts and the Garment Factory Lofts (233 Carlaw Ave) are definitely worth checking out.
The Wrigley Lofts, built in 1907, features suites with 13.5-foot ceilings, exposed brick, concrete columns and floors, large fluted columns and my favorite loft feature – floor to ceiling warehouse windows. Another great feature is that property taxes and maintenance fees are quite low. This historic building was originally a Wrigley’s warehouse before being transformed into a true loft conversion in 1998. It now houses 79 loft suites.
Leslieville is in the heart of the Film District, a short walk to the Danforth and close to the Beaches. Queen St. is just a minute south of 245 Carlaw with streetcar access and of course many shops and restaurants.
